About the Founder

Born and raised in New York.

Made and initiated on PA’s Mainline. 

The sisterhood and commitment to service I witness from the women in pink and green have always inspired me. At Haverford College, I felt that community prior to being initiated into Sigma Lambda, the Mainline PA chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, in Spring 2008. I’m back in New York, as a proud member of Tau Omega, the oldest graduate chapter in New York, serving the Harlem community since 1925. 

I founded YL Studio in the spirit of that community. To show my pride for my illustrious organization and my love of Greekdom. I want all Greeks to show off, too: whether their style pulls from suburban prep or the streets of New York.
